Our in-store mechanics are fully trained to Bicycle Association standards, ensuring you and your bike enjoy many safe miles together.
We offer a full range of servicing options, covering brakes, wheels, suspension, and gears. Whether you’re short on time, prefer not to get your hands dirty, or simply aren’t sure where to start, you can relax knowing our skilled mechanics have it covered.
Our current turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours when parts are in stock, extending to 3 to 5 days if specific components need to be ordered.
Just like a car, your bike benefits from a regular “Cycle MOT” — a detailed safety and performance check that helps catch wear and tear before it becomes costly or dangerous. Routine inspections keep your brakes sharp, your gears smooth, and your rides worry-free all year round.

It was great to find a ‘proper’ bike shop, rather than a workshop in a national chain store. James is knowledgeable and passionate about bikes. He serviced my Trek mountain bike after it has sat in the garage for too many years. James serviced the bike the same day & was keen to know if the bike was ok. THANK YOU James, it’s working perfectly! The price was very reasonable & James could have charged me a lot more for parts that I ‘needed’ but he didn’t Definitely return to RPM Cycles for services, purchases & advice.

A proper bike shop where good advice is given freely and his pricing is very fair. Took my sons bike there as purchased elsewhere, to help with an issue, he went above and beyond to help to ensure the bike was at a high SAFE standard for my son, when I told him I had got it for surprise for after school now (2:30) it was ready and waiting for him , made one little boy very happy!!! Have recently had a service on my Claud butler hybrid and just had a PDI and set up of my new giant mountain bike. James is very knowledgable, honest and enthusiastic about his work, which is refreshing to see in this day and age! We are very lucky to have such a gem of a shop in our community and I would recommend anyone to pay him a visit and support our local bike shop.
